The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in Vienna, Austria is the world’s center for cooperation in the nuclear field, committed to promoting safe, secure, and peaceful uses of nuclear energy and technology. The IAEA offers opportunities to engage in current, meaningful issues of global security, prosperity, and technological advancement while working in a dynamic and globally focused workplace. Housed Argonne National Laboratory, IAEA Programs works with the Department of State to serve as an interface between the IAEA and the US nuclear community. The IAEA Careers Program encourages well-qualified US citizens to consider careers in the IAEA's non-Safeguards departments and assists US candidates in the applications process.
