The latest report from the University of Michigan Science, Technology, and Public Policy Program’s Technology Assessment Project (TAP) will be the focus of a webinar on December 11, from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. (EST).
Sponsored by TAP in partnership with the university’s Fastest Path to Zero Initiative, the event will discuss findings in the report, The Reactor Around the Corner: Understanding Advanced Nuclear Energy Futures.

In her current role as Acting Director for Nuclear Technology at the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan, Eri Nakatani is responsible for overseeing nuclear innovation programs regarding advanced reactor technologies, nuclear safety enhancement and human resource development. She holds two master’s degrees: one in nuclear engineering from the University of Tokyo and another in public and international affairs from Princeton University.
