ANS responds to “antiscientific” op-ed
The Hill recently published an opinion piece by Cindy Folkers and Amanda Nichols entitled “They won’t tell you these truths about nuclear energy.” Sadly, after the first sentence, their so-called truth veers into a diatribe of antiscientific fearmongering and misrepresentations.

This panel will discuss fission space reactor development needs with respect to computational modeling tools, technology and infrastructure, then review ongoing activities to address these needs for the NTP and FSP projects at both the NASA and National Labs, as well the review capabilities of the national lab infrastructure.
