A simple revision of a computational process is proposed for a point-detector problem in Monte Carlo transport calculation using the score point selection technique. The effectiveness of the modification is demonstrated by a test calculation. By this revision, the computation time required has been considerably reduced, without a significant increase of the statistical error.
