A technique for evaluating certain angular integrals encountered in the generation of isotropic and linearly anisotropic components of neutron discrete scattering transfer matrices is discussed. The technique is based on the use of recursion relations and series expansions that are found to be computationally attractive when compared to numerical quadratures.
