Neutron fission cross sections of 237Np, 240Pu, 241Pu, 242Pu, 244Pu, and 241Am have been measured at 14.7-MeV neutron energy using a different technique. Fission fragments were detected with a silicon detector, and the flux of neutrons on the sample was determined by the standard activation technique using the 27Al (n, 4He)24Na reaction. The present results are in good agreement with recent measurements reported in the literature.
