The Wilkins equation for 1/v capture and with a constant leakage term is studied. The solution regular at the origin and its asymptotic behavior are discussed. Series expansions for the joining factors are given and the corresponding eigenvalue problem is studied. Finally, tabulations of the functions are presented for values of the parameters that are of practical interest.
