DTRA’s advancements in nuclear and radiological detection

Impurity flow reversal based on coinjected neutral beams and on electron cyclotron resonance heating are considered as possible mechanisms for alpha ash removal from tokamak reactors. Both formalisms are applied to the TIBER-II parameters and preliminary results are reported.
