Experiments are described which demonstrate that tritiated water inventory on molecular sieve can be reduced by loading the molecular sieve with water and subsequent regeneration. These experiments also show that to achieve low dewpoints air streams from a molecular sieve drying bed, regenerations times are much longer than routinely used in detritiation systems.
