Russia withdraws from 25-year-old weapons-grade plutonium agreement

Lumped parameter kinetic equations for the (n)-Li-(T)D-( n) chain reaction are derived and compared with the corresponding equation for the fission chain reaction. The kinetic behavior of the fusion chain is examined in the quasi-state approximation, the validity of which is briefly assessed.
