Surface erosions of various plasma facing materials with high fluence pulsed thermal inflows were evaluated with various irradiation machines and various diagnostic tools. The most recent and interesting result was CVD polycrystalline diamond had equivalent endurance strength with tungsten under ArF laser irradiations.
