We discuss use of -rays for diagnosing energetic particles in burning plasma. Our attention is focused on 0.981-MeV -rays emitted in the 6Li(t,p1)8Li* reaction governed in the plasma by energetic tritons. These quanta are shown to have an important application for diagnosing knock-on tritons and -particles confined in burning DT plasmas.
