Imaging of mirror confined plasmas in the central cell of the GAMMA 10 tandem mirror was performed for the first time with visible light and Ha line. A mirror polished stainless steel was used to improve the line of sight. The interaction between the plasma and the central cell limiter was studied with the aid of electrostatic probes.
