Design of a multistage feedthrough is presented, which aims to enhance fusion reaction rate in a low-pressure spherical inertial electrostatic confinement device. Numerical simulation suggested significant improvement in ion recirculation current by a factor of ~3, by modifying spherical symmetry of electric field.
