Kentucky disburses $10M in nuclear grants
The Kentucky Nuclear Energy Development Authority (KNEDA) recently distributed its first awards through the new Nuclear Energy Development Grant Program, which was established last year. In total, KNEDA disbursed $10 million to a variety of companies that will use the funding to support siting studies, enrichment supply-chain planning, workforce training, and curriculum development.

The paper describes the main tasks related to Configuration Control and illustrates the means in place to assure the control over the technical baseline, schedule and cost and is describing the collaboration with the DA's towards realization on ITER site. It is further summarizing the current status of construction on site and the ongoing preparation work of the Tokamak Complex buildings with the interfaces to be defined and controlled.
