Leak-tightness test on deck for SRS mega unit
The Savannah River Site in South Carolina will begin a leak-tightness test to qualify the megavolume Saltstone Disposal Unit (SDU) 10 to store up to 33 million gallons of solidified, decontaminated salt solution produced at the site.

Ezold has over 30 years of experience in the nuclear sciences and is currently Technical Advisor for the Radioisotope Science and Technology Division at Oak Ridge National Lab, where she is leading efforts to develop and implement isotope performance analysis techniques that drive consistency and efficiency in isotope development and production.
Ezold will discuss her career working with nuclear isotopes and provide insights related to isotope research, production, and applications.
