Jesson Hutchinson is the Chief Scientist of the National Criticality Experiments Research Center (NCERC) and is an expert in critical and subcritical experiments. He is a Crew Chief (equivalent to a Senior Reactor Operator) for three of the critical assembly machines and is a Crew Member (equivalent to a Reactor Operator) of the fourth machine at NCERC. Jesson has participated in and/or lead >150 critical and >500 subcritical operations at NCERC. His focus is the design, execution, and analysis of critical and subcritical experiments. He has been a member of the ICSBEP working group since 2007. Jesson is an instructor for hands-on criticality and reactor physics training.
