Terms finalized for Australian uranium exports to India
Following up on an agreement that was signed 12 years ago, Australia and India have finalized the details by which Australian uranium will be exported to India for peaceful purposes and under the safeguards of the International Atomic Energy Agency. The Administrative Arrangement to enable the long-term exports was reached at the Third India–Australia Annual Summit, held in Melbourne on July 9. The summit coincided with a meeting between Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.

Sandra serves as the Director of Systems Engineering & Integration for BWXT Advanced Technologies (AT). She and her team in BWXT AT provide experienced technical leadership and systems engineering support for terrestrial microreactor, space nuclear propulsion, and space power programs. Sandra has worked continuously in the nuclear field for 30+ years in areas including licensing, regulatory affairs, technical integration, safety analysis, thermal hydraulic modeling and simulation, project engineering leadership, and engineering management. In addition, she has served on the ANS Board of Directors, various ANS committees, and is a past chair of the ANS Operations & Power Division.
