Oklo selects Kiewit for construction of first Aurora Powerhouse
Following the signing of a new agreement, Kiewit Nuclear Solutions, a subsidiary of Kiewit Corporation, is officially the lead constructor for Oklo’s first commercial Aurora powerhouse, which will be built at Idaho National Laboratory.

Increased enrichment and high burnup fuel initiatives open new opportunities for the LWR industry; improve fuel utilization, enable power uprates, etc. However, these initiatives also bring regulatory challenges. The LWR industry is working to effectively solve these challenges. While solving these challenges we also identify unique improvement opportunities.
