An Appeal from the Ukrainian Nuclear Society

Ukraine’s power grid is under attack. Russian airstrikes have destroyed over nine gigawatts of capacity, leaving the country with only a third of the power needed to meet peak power demands year-round.

Give to the ANS-ENS Ukrainian Nuclear Workers Humanitarian Fund and help Ukraine’s nuclear communities in need across the country, from satellite cities that host nuclear power plants to communities that host specialized higher education institutions and nuclear research facilities.

In partnership with the European Nuclear Society (ENS), all donations go directly to the Ukrainian Nuclear Society for the purchase and distribution of essential medical supplies, personal protective equipment, batteries, flashlights, warm clothes, food, and other items.

The Impact of Your Support

ANS and the European Nuclear Society (ENS) were among the first organizations to actively support UkrNS in its humanitarian efforts. Within days of the invasion, the transatlantic nuclear community formed the ANS-ENS Ukrainian Nuclear Workers Humanitarian Fund to help our Ukrainian colleagues in need.

All donations continue to go directly to UkrNS for essential medical supplies, personal protective equipment, batteries, flashlights, warm clothes, food, and other items.

With your help, about six tons of humanitarian aid purchased and delivered since the beginning of the war. Since 2022, we've delivered:

  • 300 fleece jackets
  • 350 warm gloves
  • 300 sets of BUFF neckwear and beanie hats
  • 300 thermal socks
  • 400 thermal underwear sets
  • 350 USB-chargeable lithium battery flashlights
  • 900 10,000mAh-chargeable power banks 150 one-liter steel thermos
  • 150 half-liter steel thermos
  • 50 portable 15-megawatt solar panels
  • 100 portable gas stoves
  • 300 camping gas stove cylinders
  • 50 plat carriers
  • 1,000 medical tourniquets
  • 200 baby food items
  • 5,000 medicines, including Ibuprofen, Aspirin, Paracetamol, Analgin, vitamins, and others.
