DOE-EM awards $74.8M Oak Ridge support services contract

The Department of Energy’s Office of Environmental Management has awarded a five-year contract worth up to $74.8 million to Independent Strategic Management Solutions for professional support services at the Oak Ridge Office of Environmental Management site in Oak Ridge, Tenn.

The OREM technical, management, and administrative services contract is a time-and-materials-type task order issued against the U.S. General Services Administration’s Multiple Award Schedule program. The contract with ISMSolutions will replace the current technical, management, and administrative services contract, held by Link Technologies, which expires on May 31, 2025.

The scope: Under the contract, ISMSolutions will support DOE-EM’s mission by performing professional support services for OREM, including technical analyses, document preparation and review, assistance in oversight activities, corrective action management, information management, technical editing, training, logistical coordination, performance analyses, records maintenance, and general and cross-cutting support.

According to DOE-EM, after a robust selection process, ISMSolutions, a women-owned small business from Richland, Wash., was determined to be best suited to manage the contract based on key personnel, organization and staffing approach, past performance, and value to taxpayers.
