NRC to hold workshop on advanced manufacturing for nuclear applications

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission will hold its 2023 Workshop on Advanced Manufacturing Technologies for Nuclear Applications on October 24–26 as a hybrid meeting.

About: Hosted by the NRC’s Office of Nuclear Regulatory Research, the workshop includes such topics as implementation of advanced manufacturing technologies in nuclear and nonnuclear applications, qualification and certification, ongoing research, and the latest developments in applicable codes and standards.

Hours: The workshop will run daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (EDT) in the Two White Flint North Auditorium at NRC headquarters, 11555 Rockville Pike, North Bethesda, Md., and online via Teams.
