ICRS15-RPSD2026 on the horizon
Now is a good time to register for the 15th International Conference on Radiation Shielding and the 23rd American Nuclear Society Topical Meeting of the Radiation Protection and Shielding Division (ICRS15-RPSD2026), which will be held October 25–29.
The meeting, which is organized by the Korean Association for Radiation Protection and cosponsored by the American Nuclear Society, will be held on South Korea’s Jeju Island at the Lotte Hotel. The registration fee is $1,200, with a discounted rate of $700 available to students.
ICRS15-RPSD2026 is set to cover a wide range of topics in radiation shielding and protection, including emerging technologies, regulatory developments, and best practices in safety.
The event will bring together leading experts in the field, including researchers, scientists, engineers, and professionals from academia, government, and industry to network, present findings, and discuss the latest advancements.
Through technical sessions, workshops, plenary talks, and social events, tool developers and application users will have the opportunity to engage in productive technical discussions, establish collaborations, and strengthen the community.

Of particular note in the meeting’s agenda are two special sessions: one focusing on small modular reactors and the other on the Fukushima Daiichi accident. There will also be a plenary talk focusing on ALARA (as low as reasonably achievable) policies.
The meeting remains open for exhibitors and meeting sponsors, as well. Completed contracts, accompanied by a brief description of company services or products, are due by August 14.
The general chair of ICRS15-RPSD2026 is Kyo-Youn Kim; the general cochair is Irina Popova.
