Activities: The Nuclear Science Week lineup features events for everyone—students, educators, industry experts, civic leaders, and the public—that highlight the contributions of nuclear science to energy, medicine, national security, and technology.
Throughout the week, the museum and the ETEC are hosting a variety of activities, including STEM education opportunities, workforce and professional development sessions, tours of historic and modern nuclear sites, and collaborative programs that showcase nuclear science. An all-age, family-friendly exposition at the museum will feature hands-on exhibits, guest speakers, and displays from regional partners in nuclear technology.
Alan Lowe, the museum’s executive director, said, “This week brings together educators, industry leaders, students, and community members. It’s an exciting opportunity to build on the atomic history, showcase the region’s role in nuclear innovation, and to inspire the next generation of leaders in science and technology.”
