Passing of Past ANS President John Graham

ANS announces the passing of past ANS President (1995-1996) and ANS Fellow John Graham.

Graham was involved in nuclear safety for 60 years, including his work with the Pacific Nuclear Council on the promotion of peaceful uses of nuclear technologies, since 1997.

He earned a B.S. in mathematics from the University of Wales, with graduate work at the University of Illinois and the University of London. He wrote Fast Reactor Safety in 1971 and has written 25 other books.

Graham was a member of ANS since 1970, and also served as treasurer. He was active in the Aerospace Nuclear Science and Technology Division, as well as the Nuclear Installations Safety Division.
