ANS Awards Nuclear Science Week Grants to Four Sections

Three student sections and one local section received cash assistance for their 2016 Nuclear Science Week (NSW) efforts through the ANS Public Information Assistance Grant program. Rather than awarding the cash assistance in two grants, as has been done in the past, ANS reviewed applicant budgets to determine the amount of assistance required to execute each proposed NSW event. Grants were awarded to the Washington, D.C. local section and these student sections: Louisiana State University; University of Idaho; and University of Texas.
