ANS Members Join March to Save IL Plants

The Save the Nukes (#savethenukes) march to prevent the closure of Illinois' Clinton and Quad Cities reactors successfully attracted attention in downtown Chicago on Monday, October 24. Passersby took flyers and asked questions. Marchers got thumbs-up and high-fives from those they passed. ANS student members from around the country joined ANS Past President Gene Grecheck and ANS Communications Director Tari Marshall in raising visibility for the value of Illinois nuclear plants.
