GAIN Initiative Has a New Leader

The Idaho National Lab (INL) has announced a new director for its Gateway for Accelerated Innovation in Nuclear (GAIN) initiative, a program dedicated to the development of innovative reactor technologies in the U.S.

ANS member Dr. Rita Baranwal will serve as the director of GAIN beginning August 22. She joins the program from Westinghouse Electric Corporation where she is the director of Technology Development in the Engineering Center of Excellence.
