Charles Nesbitt Receives 2014 Robert L. Long Training Excellence Award

Charles Nesbitt has been honored with the 2014 Robert L. Long Training Excellence Award. Nesbitt currently is the director of training for units 1 and 2 at the Alvin W. Bogtle Electric Generating Plant. He oversees training development, accreditation, management of training facilities and more for Southern Nuclear.

The ANS's Education, Training and Workforce Development Division established the award in 1993 to recognize outstanding, innovative, unique and cost-effective contributions to the nuclear training field.
