GE, Exelon Partner on Cancer Fighting Isotopes

A recent deal between GE Hitachi and Exelon would lead to the development of radioisotopes used for treating cancer and other biomedical applications. The deal would help in efforts to alleviate domestic availability of radioisotopes in the United States.

The American Nuclear Society (ANS) has called for an increase in available radioisotopes to help sustain domestic healthcare needs.
