As the cornerstone of the Arizona Public Service (APS) generation fleet, Palo Verde has provided reliable, carbon-free electricity to the Southwest for more than three decades.

During this guided driving tour, participants will gain insight into the operation of this three-unit commercial nuclear power station, which generates more than 32 million megawatt-hours of electricity annually—enough to power more than 4 million homes and businesses across Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, and California. Attendees will also learn how Palo Verde's innovative approach to sustainability sets it apart as the nation's only commercial nuclear generating station not located on a natural body of water, using more than 20 billion gallons of reclaimed municipal wastewater annually to cool the plant.

This exclusive experience offers attendees the opportunity to explore one of the world's premier nuclear generating facilities while learning about its role in providing reliable, carbon-free electricity, supporting regional energy security, and contributing more than $2.6 billion annually to Arizona's economy.
