Policy Update: ANS and the Nuclear Policy Landscape in Washington

September 25, 2013|1:00pm - 2:00pm CDT

A complimentary webinar for ANS members. Hosted by ANS's Communications Committee.

As your professional, technical society, ANS works to ensure that the environment is as favorable to advancing the peaceful use of the atom as possible. However, the environment in which you must work is heavily regulated. The Society's Washington, DC representative, Craig Piercy, works closely with the Public Policy Committee, the Special Committee on Government Relations, the Executive Committee, and staff leadership to identify and address the priority issues facing nuclear professionals and their companies. In this webinar, Craig will provide a snapshot of what's on the horizon for the upcoming legislative session and the role ANS is playing in the debates that shape our industry.
