This work reports on the transmutation of elements discovered in saturated Pd hydride samples processed by an excimer laser. A high zinc concentration was recorded in almost all the samples analyzed. The element as well as the isotopic concentrations were measured using inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry. During the experiment, excess heat was also monitored.
