College students help develop waste measuring device at Hanford
A partnership between Washington River Protection Solutions (WRPS) and Washington State University has resulted in the development of a device to measure radioactive and chemical tank waste at the Hanford Site. WRPS is the contractor at Hanford for the Department of Energy’s Office of Environmental Management.

Progress in the collaborative work in the ITER Engineering Design Activities (EDA) is summarized. It refers to the ITER Final Design Report, Cost Review and Safety Analysis, at the end of the EDA (July 1998) which provides, as requested in the ITER EDA Agreement, a detailed, complete and fully integrated engineering design of ITER, including the latest assessment of ITER plasma performance and safety characteristics.
