Nuclear Innovation Policy Guide Named One of Top 50 Policy Reports

The need to develop regulations for advanced nuclear technologies received recognition by the Think Tanks and Civil Societies Program (TTCSP) of the University of Pennsylvania. This was the premise of a study by Third Way that was recognized as one of the top 50 worldwide policy study-reports produced by a think tank in 2016. 

 "A Step-by-Step Guide to Nuclear Innovation Policy," shows the path of a young nuclear engineer  Carla who has an innovative idea. She secures investments, tests her ideas, and builds a demonstration reactor. Along the way, the challenges the young engineer faces are highlighted along with the specific policies that can help her overcome each obstacle.

The TTCSP at the Lauder Institute of the University of Pennsylvania conducts research on the role policy institutes play in governments and in civil societies around the world.
