American Nuclear Society Partners with Technical Journals Publisher

The American Nuclear Society (ANS) and Taylor & Francis have announced a new partnership to publish ANS’s three distinguished journals, Nuclear Science and Engineering, Nuclear Technology, and Fusion Science and Technology, beginning in 2017. 

“This partnership will provide tremendous value for readers and authors by way of a larger distribution network and a reduced time to publish,” said ANS Scientific Publications Director Rick Michal.

ANS President and Technical Editor of Nuclear Technology Dr. Andrew Klein added, “ANS is proud of its highly-regarded portfolio of publications that advances scholarly research, advocates for the practical applications of nuclear technology, and promotes the peaceful use of the atom. With this collaboration, ANS will be able to improve its services to the nuclear community.”

This new process will further help the Society in its mission to serve the nuclear community by sharing information on advancements in nuclear technology,” Anthony F. Trioli, editorial director of U.S. Science, Technology, and Medicine Journals at Taylor & Francis.

The first issues of the ANS portfolio published by Taylor & Francis are expected to be available in early 2017 at http://www.ans.org/pubs/journals/.
