Nuclear Energy Scores High with Voters

A new public opinion poll shows that Clinton and Trump voters agree on at least one issue-nuclear energy! Sixty-five percent of those polled favor nuclear energy, including 60 percent of Hillary Clinton supporters and 75 percent of Donald Trump supporters. Additionally, 75 percent of those surveyed believe nuclear energy will be important in coming years.

The research was conducted for the Nuclear Energy Institute from Sept. 21 to Oct. 1 with a nationally representative sample of 1,000 adults by Bisconti Research Inc. and Quest Global Research.
