Wisconsin Senate Lifts Nuclear Construction Ban

The Wisconsin Senate voted 23-9 to pass Assembly Bill 384 that will lift the state's ban on new nuclear plant construction.

The bill will go to Governor Scott Walker next for his approval.

Allowing for nuclear energy to be an option in their energy mix provides states with choices as they work on their compliance energy plans to reduce carbon emissions.
