ANS Hosts Nuclear Energy Discussions at COP21

On the third full day of the COP21 discussions on climate change and emissions reductions in Paris, ANS President Eugene S. Grecheck met with delegates of the United Arab Emirates (right).

The Moroccan Association des Ingénieurs en Génie Atomique gave a presentation to visitors of the Nuclear for Climate booth regarding the plans for development of nuclear in Morocco as a long-term way of producing low carbon energy.

ANS joined the Nuclear for Climate initative in early 2014 as a way to educate policymakers and the public on the need for nuclear energy as one of the solutions to climate change.
