ANS Making Nuclear Visible in Paris Climate Talks

ANS President Eugene S. Grecheck and Director of Communications and Outreach Tari Marshall will be in Paris December 2-9 as observer delegates and one of the lead organizations for Nuclear for Climate. "It is critical that nuclear energy be front and center so that delegates understand the essential role that nuclear will play in reaching climate goals," Grecheck said.

ANS members are being encouraged to use social media during this time with #COP21 and #Nuclear4Climate to raise visibility for nuclear energy messages. "Our members and social media followers have definitely made an impact in getting our messages seen by top officials," Marshall noted. "ANS has been credited with getting the attention of key leaders through our social media, and we want to keep that momentum going these next two weeks."
