ANS Member Helps Promote Nuclear Education

This summer ANS member Mel Buckner helped promote nuclear education and work force development to 21 middle and high school teachers in Georgia and South Carolina. Buckner, who sits on the education committee for the Citizens for Nuclear Technology Awareness, assisted in directing teachers interested in learning or sharing more on nuclear technology applications.
