ANS Student Section Shows Support for Turkey Point at Meeting

Members of the University of Florida Student Section of the American Nuclear Society (ANS) met with Florida Governor Rick Scott and other officials to discuss the benefits of the Turkey Point Nuclear Generating Station.

Students shared testimony on the benefits that nuclear energy will provide the region. Officials voted to move forward on approving site selection for the reactors at Turkey Point.
