ANS Eastern Washington Local Section Show Support for Small Modular Reactors
The Eastern Washington Local Section of the American Nuclear Society gave their support to a Washington Senate task force that would explore the use of small modular reactors across the state.
The task force, currently being considered by the Washington House Technology and Economic Development Committee, would study the use of nuclear power, and its effectiveness in replacing electricity generated by fossil fuels.
