ANS President Calls for Federal Investment in Nuclear Technology
Speaking at a Platt's Nuclear Energy conference, ANS President Donald R. Hoffman called for the federal government, and the Department of Defense, to be an active customer in innovative nuclear technology.
Citing small modular reactors, Hoffman called for the Department to remain active in their development, as well as making sure resources are available to store and dispose spent nuclear fuel.
