U.S. House Resolution Recognizes 40th Anniversary of Congressional Science Fellowships

In honor of the 40 years of congressional science fellowships, U.S. Representative Rush Holt of New Jersey introduced a resolution recognizing the achievement of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) Policy Fellowship Program.

The Fellowship Program has seen almost 1,200 Congressional Science and Engineering Fellows in the legislative branch, who assist with much needed expertise in the areas of science, technology, and engineering. The Fellows aim to assist Congress legislate effectively on public policy issues related to scientific and technical legislation.
