ANS logo caught on camera!

The American Nuclear Society's logo is caught on camera. The well known ANS circle with the atom inside could easily be seen on a race car thanks to the philanthropic gift by the Newman Wachs Race Team.

Team Owners Paul Newman and Eddie Wachs say they placed the ANS logos on the side pods of their race car because they strongly support and believe in educating the public and drawing attention to the benefits of nuclear science and technology.

The race car was driven by Joe D'Agostino during the Toronto Atlantic Grand Prix Race on Sunday, July 9th.

ANS logos could be seen every time the camera with the drivers view point from inside the race car was shown.

Note: slide the time bar to the 5:20 minute mark to view ANS logo. Other logo appearances can be seen at 14:56, 15:56, 19:01, 20:17, 38:00, and 42:28.

The ANS logos were given several minutes of air time during the race. The logos will remain on the race car throughout the entire 2006 race schedule. Scroll down to see the schedule.

This is the second philanthropic message placement by Newman and Wachs. The first in 2006 is for a quit smoking campaign.
