ANS hires new director of membership and marketing

LaGrange Park, IL - December 11, 2012 - Diane Cianflone has joined the American Nuclear Society (ANS) as Director of Membership and Marketing. Ms. Cianflone is responsible for member recruitment and retention, adding to the suite of member benefits, and overall marketing of Society offerings to nuclear professionals.

Previously, Ms. Cianflone was the Director of Membership for the American Bar Association based in Chicago, IL where she was responsible for membership development, data analytics, and member services. She also has extensive experience in market research, product development, and marketing management in the financial industry, launching several successful product lines.

Ms. Cianflone holds a BA in Art History from University of Cincinnati and a MBA from University of Chicago.

Established in 1954, ANS is a professional organization of engineers and scientists devoted to the peaceful applications of nuclear science and technology. Its more than 11,000 members come from diverse technical backgrounds covering the full range of engineering disciplines as well as the physical and biological sciences within the nuclear field. They are advancing the application of nuclear technologies to improve the lives of the world community through national and international enterprise within government, academia, research laboratories and private industry.
