The American Nuclear Society welcomes recognized media representatives to attend annual, topical, and international meetings. ANS Outreach staff will gladly schedule interviews with keynote speakers, session presenters, and ANS members whose experience and knowledge are of interest. Media representatives are asked to contact ANS Outreach staff to facilitate the scheduling of interviews. Members of the media who attend individual sessions will have direct access to delegates and observers, so they will be able to request interviews directly, after the session concludes.
To receive press credentials, ANS allows media representatives to register over the internet or by fax, using the general registration form for the meeting. Members of the media requesting attendance at an ANS event should follow the normal registration procedures and submit all necessary forms, clearly indicating your position as a member of the media. Registration to meetings is free, however, payment is required for access to any tours, ceremonies, or events for which fees are indicated.
On occasion, we may require a letter from your publisher, editor, or broadcast producer on official stationary.

Media passes will be given to reporters, writers, editors, publishers, photographers, or videographers from print, broadcast, and online outlets who meet these qualifications.
ANS is not responsible for the safety or security of any equipment or property damaged, destroyed or lost by a member of the media while attending an ANS event.
Media access is extended as a professional courtesy; media privileges may be revoked at any time.
