> George C. Laurence Pioneering Award
View Recipients
The award was established by the Nuclear Installations Safety Division to recognize persons who have made outstanding pioneering contributions to the field of nuclear reactor safety. This award consists of a certificate or plaque and may furthermore be accompanied by a monetary award. The George C. Laurence Pioneering Award is not limited to ANS members, and shall not be given on an annual basis, but when the NISD H&A Committee deems such recognition to be appropriate. Nominations must be submitted to the NISD Honors and Awards Committee Chair by December 1.
