The American Nuclear Society's web site is considered the credible source of information for the nuclear science and technology community. The entire ANS web site receives more than 2,000,000 hits per month. ANS is offering Nuclear News and Radwaste Solutions advertisers, as well as organization members, the opportunity to post an industry ad link (in the form of a banner) that will be positioned at several key locations throughout the ANS web site. |

* To qualify to post a banner, you must run at least one page of print advertising during the calendar year within Nuclear News or Radwaste Solutions. The above rates are the net amounts payable to ANS and are noncommissionable. A separate fee may be charged by recognized agencies for the creation of a banner ad. However, a banner can be created for your company by our webmaster for an additional $100. |

Your company's banner will appear in a cycle on the home page (www.ans.org), as well as on the advertising page (www.ans.org/advertising). If your company is active in the ANS Career Center, you may also choose to place your banner advertisement within it. These sections of the site average more than 50,000 hits every month. |

Your company receives a permanent industry ad link from within the Nuclear News and Radwaste Solution advertising sections of the site, which serves as a direct link to your web site. |

Participating companies will be recognized in special advertisements that will appear in select issues of Nuclear News and Radwaste Solutions. |

Banner Specifications File Format Files should be provided in any of the following formats: GIF, JPEG, Photoshop (psd), Bitmap (bmp), PNG, or TIFF. Image Size Image dimensions should 468 by 60 pixels and have a resolution of 72 dpi. File Size Files should not be larger than 20 kb. Link Companies should provide the URL to which they would like the banner to link. Banner Creation If you would like your banner to be created by the ANS webmaster, you must provide the following: company logo (preferably a vector file format, otherwise a large bitmap in any of the formats listed above); text to appear in the banner (optionally you may specify a common typeface); any images that you would like incorporated into the banner (foreground, background, etc.). If any of the items are available from your company's web site, you may provide the exact URL of the image or the page it appears on rather than the image itself. |
